JA Solar has joined hands with Solarpro to supply high-efficiency TOPCon modules DeepBlue 4.0 Pro for a large-scale 240MW solar power plant in Tenevo village, Yambol district, Bulgaria. Solarpro, a leading EPC contractor and technological provider in Europe, will manage the entire project lifecycle, from design to implementation and monitoring. The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The project, which will be one of the largest solar power plants in the region, aims to enhance Bulgaria’s renewable energy capacity and contribute to the European Union’s green energy goals.
The installation of the solar modules is scheduled to begin in Q3 2024, with grid connection and operational status expected by the end of Q2 2025.
